Sex workers, politicians, zoom calls and fake facelift. Daniel Roché continues to reproduce the reality that surrounds us, proposing a series of personas that, like a mirror, reflect our contradictions

Title: watching Lolita waiting for a war scene
I can’t say exactly how I approached this photoshoot. I just think that people fascinate me. Most of the time I feel very connected to them. I’ve noticed that I often swap my own identity with the identity of the person facing me or the person I’ve created in my head. Actually I portray only the idea of the person and not the person itself.
I think the abundance of individual ideas that had to be implemented and working with so many characters. Also, I love getting into new situations all the time. I think that suits me.
