Telling people’s lives without altering them – it’s a matter of transparency. Rosie Alice Foster

«We felt privileged to be allowed into somebody’s most private and safe space; so we tried to capture it respectfully». For Rosie Alice Foster and Sam Carder transparency is about respect

At home

We kept our team very small and did not bring hair and make-up. We felt that it would be challenging to capture the true spirit of somebody if there were too many personalities coming together.

We felt very privileged to be allowed into somebody’s most private and safe space; so we tried to capture it respectfully. The space in which people live is like a window into their minds.

Rosie Alice Foster

Portrait photographer from London, specializing in intimate and honest portraits of people in their own worlds. Obsessed with getting to the core of someone’s personality, Rosie will seek to find the vulnerability and story in each subject she photographs, working collaboratively with them to put across the story they want to tell.
