Coming back to an honest existence, being inquisitive of another, finding the feeling of freedom and ultimately connecting back to nature. Behave ourselves, oppress the fire within, stop crying, don’t act so crazy, be quiet, ignore your urges, don’t display so much public affection, don’t be too wild… I wanted to create a story that rather chose to do the opposite.
Caroline Mackintosh
South African artist born and raised in Cape Town. Mackintosh is mostly known for her photography but also writes and performs music, as well as making visuals and films. Caroline’s started taking pictures at a young age, using her dad’s camera in family expeditions into the African wildlife.
