The dream of being a fashion designer seems to have come naturally. We have been together for quite a long time since adolescence. We experienced many things, and we shared our thoughts. At some points, vintage clothing become a thing for us due to its unique history of time. Also, with its characteristic of scarcity, we enjoyed styling with them. We think that the experiences are closely related to the reason why we became fashion designers, rather than a special motive or great inspiration.

The most inspiring places for this collection are street vendors from Korean traditional markets. The traditional markets have their own vibes: lots of colorful prints clothes, odds and ends that are mainly hanging on the wall or placed in the center of the shop are characteristics that make the market’s vibe. Street vendors seem fancy and wild. Their outfits are so unique that you can not find them anywhere else. They don’t have any certain rules in how to wear. They do not consider harmony and balance of silhouettes: they wear incompatible showy colors and prints combinations. These features took our attention. The philosophy of our brand is that we do not produce a product, but we create an artwork. Korean culture is the first influence in our work. For example, we are influenced by traditional Korean manufacturing methods, like loom.
